Safety

We Focus on Safety.

At Kern Craft Construction, safety isn’t just a priority – it’s the foundation of everything we do. We are deeply committed to ensuring the well-being of every individual on our sites, from employees to contractors and visitors. That’s why we go above and beyond by providing intensive, hands-on safety training for all team members. This includes comprehensive onboarding programs as well as regular, up-to-date refresher courses to ensure everyone is fully equipped with the latest best practices and regulatory standards.

Our dedication to safety extends far beyond basic compliance. We rigorously enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times – from hard hats to high-visibility vests, ensuring everyone on-site is properly protected. Additionally, our worksites are meticulously inspected and maintained daily to minimize any potential hazards before they arise.

Plan. Prepare. Prevent.

Our employees are at the heart of what we do.

We’re committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all. We're always exploring new ways to strengthen our safety protocols and partnering with others in the industry to promote an uncompromising approach to protecting our team.

At Kern Craft Construction, we firmly believe that a proactive, safety-first approach is not only essential for protecting our team but also critical for driving the efficiency and success of every project we undertake. When safety leads, excellence follows!

By maintaining memberships with organizations such as ISNetworld, the KCC’s safety team can incorporate client-specific regulations directly into its safety programs and documentation. This approach allows KCC to deliver a customized strategy that aligns closely with each client’s operational goals, safety mission, and unique safety incentives, as well as their proprietary safety protocols.

Kern Craft Construction’s Safety Programs have earned the Gold Level designation from the Associated Builders & Contractors' Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP), demonstrating that our safety practices and record surpass industry standards.

Our team is responsible for implementing our Safety Program at all job sites, ensuring a secure environment for employees, subcontractors, customers, and the public.
